Let's see...what has been going on?? Last week was nice. On Valentine's Day, Justin cooked me a wonderful dinner. We had chipotle, blue cheese stuffed chicken, bacon and chive mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. We had a fun time and even ate in the dining room which never happens. On Friday, I went to Waco for recruiting which means no thinking about taxes for a whole day!

This weekend was fairly laid back. It stormed all day Saturday. Like a crazy, our team still went out to the lake to run on Saturday morning. We were soaked and I was not too happy. I ended up running with one other girl who was brand new. But we didn't run much. She would run for like a 1 minute and then walk for like 5 minutes. So not only was I soaked, I was freezing b/c we were not moving very much. I had a bad attitude on. But then we had the Honored Hero's Breakfast. We got to hear from our Honored Hero's and the difference that LLS has made in their lives. Both heroes’ that spoke are also training with the Team which is a testament to what the Society and TNT is doing. So it helped my attitude get back on track to remember why I am training with this Team.

Other than that, I have been playing with my new scrapbooking software. I installed it on my laptop so I could work on it on the couch. So I am working very hard not to play with it while I am at work :)

It is Here!

May I present...my new template...Through My Eyes! I'll update again tomorrow or Monday. But for now, I am going to watch Baylor vs Texas on national television.

Not alot has been going on this week. I have been trying to catch up on my sleep and I think I finally have. I have not felt very tired all day.

This weekend I ran in the Mardi Gras 5K in downtown Dallas. I wanted to run it in under 30 minutes...but thought I probably wouldn't since it was 5:30 at night and I never run in the afternoon. But as I started running, I was feeling really good. So I kept up a fast pace. But as I looped around and saw the finish line clock (but I had to go past it and then run back about a 1/2 mile) I thought no way am I going to make it. So I backed off a little. The next day I checked my offical time on the website and I was at 30:08! I was 9 seconds from meeting my goal. I guess it took me awhile to cross the starting line. Oh, well, I guess that will be my goal for my next race. No pictures from the race or parade since I forgot my camera and so did all my friends!

No new template yet...but it is coming. Just trying to build it up :)
