My Blog List

I am sure some of you already noticed that I added a new feature to my site. This feature will allow us all to see exactly how long it has been since a given member of the WEBNET has updated. It also allows us to see who is the LAST person that has updated...of course some WEBNET members have been entirely removed from my listing for not posting. So the winner is....my mother...with 9 months since her last post.

There seems to be a problem with the new feature right now...but when it is working...I think it is really cool. Another thing it allows us to do is only go to your own blog and see from the link list whose websites you need to visit. I found out Lauri and Caleb had both updated using the new feature (sorry, I rarely check on you guys since you are slackers).

Tonight I am in Houston for a meeting tomorrow morning. On the plus side, I am leaning on two feather pillows in a room that is 65 degrees at the Four Seasons. On the downside, I am bored watching John and Kate Plus 8. I was also surfing the internet trying to find a book for my book club to read. So I am taking suggestions. What good books have you read? We just read a mystery by James Patterson so I want something a little different than that. Now I'm off to put my shoes out to get shined (free service here at 4 Seasons) and turn the air slightly up...I know...that is a crime in Texas in July...to admit I'm cold...but it is the first time in awhile. In fact, the air was not working on our flight and the flight attendant actually ask all of us to turn on the personal air thingys to help cool the plane off.

4th of July Weekend

Justin and I spent the weekend in east Texas with his family at his parent's land. Josh, his girlfriend, Ashley, Billy and the girls, grandma and papa, and Kelly and Susan were all there. On Saturday we had a big cook out on the firepit grill.

We also rode the four-wheeler and mule.

Ashley laid in the hammock...

and Kelly continued to lay shingles.

On Sunday, we went fishing...and caught nothing.

Here is a view from the back of the field. Here is the cute front porch.

Here is one of Walker...because he is such a good swimmer.
