If only in our minds....

I guess you probably know from reading I just got back from Maui..., but we went to the fair on Tuesday night with one of our couple friends. I got my Fletcher's corn dog ( I need at least one a year) and dreamed of all the cool cars I might get some day if Justin works hard enough. Last night we watched Lost and Amazing Race (taped due to our trip to the fair). The race was very stressful since I really want the family with the little girl to win. Tonight we are going to watch my little brother in a play at school. I saw the musical he was in last year and it was pretty good so it should be fun.

You all might remember the diaper bag that I got for Kara. Well, they shipped me the wrong bag and had to send me a new one. When the new bag arrived, it had a paper inside offering me $50 off a purchase of a second bag (although it doesn't have to be a diaper bag). Since I have been wanting a Vera Bradley bag for some time, I was very excited. Plus the bag I want (see picture below) is only $42 so it is basically free! Kara - this picture is mostly for you :)

The picture on the header of my blog was taken by my talented husband while in Maui on our honeymoon. I always keep a Maui picture as my wallpaper on my laptop so that every once in a while I can pretend I am in Maui on the beach in the sun instead of in my cube freezing my butt (sorry Mommy) off because the office is so cold! I thought with this picture some of you might join me in Maui if only in our minds.

The bag is darling. Is it really for me and you are just trying to be sneaky? The Maui picture is beautiful. I'm sorry you are cold but that is no reason for using the "B" word, young lady. You know I don't approve! :)

Love the bag. Is there a website that has them? I loved the one you got Kara. Not that I will be needing a diaper bag any time soon. Someday my dear husband will take me to Maui too. Then I will ahve awesome pictures to put on my blog

In some metro way, I am sure the bag is darling. It does nothing for me, and the name is not familiar. And I must agree with your Mom on the use of the word butt. If you continue, you will become the butt of family jokes, we will butt in on your blog with irrelevant comments, and you will have to start calling cigarette butts cigarette backsides.

Good point about the shoes. I might be able to find an old, ugly pair you could borrow ... maybe.
