Life as Lindsay

I am going to catch all of you up on my current life status. I hope someone is reading this so I will not feel like it is a waste of time. Let's see.........I graduated from Baylor in December. Justin graduated the previous May and was waiting with me in Waco. We moved to Dallas in January and got an awesome apartment downtown. It is actually in what is called Uptown but basically in downtown. I work about half a mile away on the other side of the freeway. We love our little neighborhood. It is filled with people around our age and there are tons of things to do.

I work for Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm. I do tax consulting, meaning I do not actually do tax returns but instead help clients with what to put on the return to minimize tax liability. Enough boring talk. I work on the 20th floor out of 33. Unfortunately, I sit in a cube with no windows nearby. I am currently studying for the CPA exam which takes a lot of my time but is necessary to be licensed.

Hey Lindsay, have you seen Office Space? It is an awesome movie, your cubicle comment made me think of it. "Has anyone seen my stapler??" If you haven't seen the movie, you should!!

Definitely not a waste of time. Ditto to Eisel and Zachary's comments. I love to read blogs, especially if I know the person but don't get to see/talk to them much.
And yes, Office Space would make you laugh. My office isn't *that* bad, at least I have windows, but the movie rings so true, it is hilarious.
When we move to TX, we'll have to contact you for tax help! :)
