Do suits make you look older?? Not me.

Well, I found out yesterday that I have to go to a recruiting dinner in Waco tonight for work. I help with recruiting Baylor students for E&Y. It is usually okay but tonight I have to go down by myself because only two other girls are going and I barely know them. To make matters worse, I just found out I have to wear a suit. I hate suits :( They are so stuffy and not cute plus I look like I'm playing dress up. I also have to miss the new Gilmore episode and Rory is supposed to come back! I also have to miss Amazing Race. They picked a bad night for a recruiting dinner. On the upside, it will give me an excuse to leave work early one night this week. I just have to decide which one!

We went car shopping this weekend. We are trying to buy a new SUV but are having trouble deciding. I guess we need some hints from Katie and Justin!! I had decided on a used Touareg (see picture above) but while researching them I discovered they are not very reliable, got very low JD Power's ratings, and everyone had the same complaints. Many reviews said DO NOT BUY and worst car ever! They are so pretty but as one individual said, "don't be fooled by the beautiful design." Now I am considering a 4Runner, Grand Cherokee, or Murano. If anyone has any helpful knowledge on these choices, please feel free to let me know! If you only have unhelpful, personal opinions, keep them to yourself.

I find it funny that you posted this post at 12:05p.m. and it is not yet 11:40a.m. here.I would go for the Grand Cherokee and I don't even know what a Murano is. Isn't a Touareg one of those words that are required to leave a comment? pbpape

You should get a 4Runner, cuz in my unhelpful, personal opinion (which I can't seem to keep to myself), they are AWESOME!!! :)
That's what I want eventually, but for now I just had to hurry up and get something so I wouldn't be without transportation for any longer.

I'm all about the 4 runners, but I would go for an 85 with a straight axle and EFI. Then you could put some 63" Chevy springs in the rear and buy some air lockers. Once you bolt on the 38 inch boggers come up to California and we'll go 4 wheeling!!!!
By the way this is not an unhelpful personal opinion, but a helpful one!!!

Whichever you pick, also check with your insurance agent so you will know what to expect for monthly (or whatever) car insurance costs.

Well, I was all ready to say that you should get a Grand Cherokee just because I actually know what it is for one thing, and another, I like them!! But then, that is only my opinion, and since I have never owned a car or anything, I dont really know if they're that great or not.:)

1 uphelpful, personal opinion -- Grand Cherokees rock. 1 helpful opinion, 4 runners have great repair records and owner satisfaction ratings. Plus they're super cool. And speaking of suits, when you bring Tickle Me Elmo and those pants, could you bring me my suit too? I think dresses will fit me well right now, and I will wear it to church Sunday if it fits and I see you before then!
