It's Christmas Time in the City....

Well, it is looking like Christmas time everywhere we go in the big D! We got our tree all finished and the house decorated. We got a new star for the top from Target yesterday. We hung our stockings by the chimney with care...or at least by the closest thing we have to a chimney :) Now we are just enjoying looking at the lights and cute ornaments while we watch TV at night.

The Reason for the Season

P.S. Brenda - Thanks for noticing my Santa Claus! It was actually your blog with the cute Merry Christmas and blinking Starbucks logo that inspired me to add him.

Wow! I'm way behind. Daddy put up the outside lights. Ben wanted to call Justin because of tradition! But then we've had something to go to every night this week so we haven't done any more decorating. I'm hoping for Saturday. Your tree looks beautiful.

Hey, I have the same smore ornament that you have. I just think they are so cute. Our tradition that we carried on from when I was little is that we get a new ornament each year. I am hoping to find a cute one at Disneyland when we go. I would like to get a squirt and crush one because of our turtles. Cute tree too!

Cute decorations. Your tree looks great -- it's sad that I have to see it on a blog. Sometime soon the three of us will have to come by! Walker's stocking is the one in the middle with the Santa holding a puppy. It has his name on it, but it's hard to see in the picture.

I have an entire Nativity set made of Smores. It is "taste"fully done. However, none of my figures are holding a lamb. OK, I just got back from the display area. It seems we have eaten the Smores Nativity set, but I did add some leftover ham to one of the figures in another set.
