Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We spent Thursday with Justin's family over at Grandma's house. We ate, watched the game, and played games. Justin even got to play football. On Friday, we went to the funeral which was very sad. After that we drove back to Arlington and went to six flags with Justin's family. It was a little different group than on Thursday since Billy, Neil, and the girls were in town. The girls are 8 and 9 so it was fun to see how excited they were about everything at the park. On Saturday, we spent the day at my parents. We got to visit with Katie and Justin and I held Walker for a long time. He is so cute when he sleeps in your arms. All the food this week was delicious!

Yesterday we decorated for Christmas. We picked out a tree because the one we used last year will no longer fit in our apartment. Last Christmas we had just moved in and had very little furniture in the living room. But I was excited because that meant we got a real one. I am very jealous of the individuals that got to go up in the mountains and cut one down with snow nearby. We got ours in a parking lot. But it looks very cute:) I'll post pictures soon since it is our first real tree. Last year it was pretty sad with few decorations and no topper.

Opps, I forgot to mention that on Saturday my sister-in-law, Amanda, got engaged. I haven't seen her yet but I can't wait to check out the new ring! They will be married next November in Arlington.

Walker enjoyed his Aunt Lindsay holding him! Congratulations to Amanda now that it's not a secret!

We have a real artificial tree. Do I get any points for that?

I am jealous of people who get to go to the mountains, also. However, real trees never agreed with our family's allergies. Oh well.
