Last night we had a typical Texas spring storm. Our electricity went out a little after 10 pm and didn't come back on until around 3:00 am. So we went to bed early after discussing how glad we were not to be pioneers b/c no lights or TV is boring. But we did not sleep well since we had no background noise (our usual fan) and it was hot. Yesterday was upper 80's and very humid! So when the electricity came back on, we were both excited. And we knew it came back on b/c we had left the study light on and the fan so they both came on by themselves. So an eventful night and we were thankful the power was on in time to get ready this morning.

Have you ever considered starting a weather chat site? It rained here too. But no electricity problems. Our phone doesn't work, but I think it's squirrel, not weather, related.

I don't know what we would do without electricity either. We would be without the internet and that is a crazy thought.

What are you people blabbering on about? We generate our own electricity by harnessing the wind power from all you people blabbering. So keep it up. Also, we take a sound machine with us every time we travel so we will have sufficient background noise to sleep. In Mexico, it was weird because we had no A/C, slept with the windows open, no sound machine, so we had to get used to hearing outside noises all the time. This is gooder.

I know but I wanted everyone else to know what happened at our house too. And, I don't really remember the squirrels, just the rats.
