We had an awesome weekend. Saturday morning I had a nice 9 mile run. My race is next weekend so I am getting excited about that. It is the Heels and Hills Half Marathon in Las Colinas. The shirt you get is a pink technical running shirt. Then Saturday night we went to a good friend's wedding in McKinney. It was very small, only about 30 people, but very fun. The wedding was in the back yard of a historic home near downtown McKinney and the reception was inside. On Sunday we went to the final round of the Byron Nelson. It was pretty cold that day and windy. We walked around and saw the important golfer's (I only know one...Sergio Garcia). Then we sat down near the 18th green and watched everyone as they finished. It ended in a tie so we got to see the playoff hole. Then it went to a second playoff hole on 17 so we left at that point. Which was evidently too soon b/c there was a third playoff hole back on 18. The guy who won sunk a 45 foot putt to win it. We were exhausted Sunday evening and I fell asleep on the couch at around 9:30. No pictures allowed at the Byron. No camara taken to the wedding.

The golf sounds like a lot of fun, the running and the wedding, not my cup of tea! Glad you enjoyed your weekend!

The Byron Nelson eh? Hmmmm. Even though I don't know exactly what that is, I assume that it was enjoyable watching professional golfers golf.

Sounds fun. I didn't realize your race was this weekend. For some reason I was thinking it was at the end of May! Run well, and we'll celebrate at M&Ds that evening.

It's cold and windy here as I write this. We are down to 85 with wind gusts up to 35. I can certainly understand why you were so tired Sunday night. After all, you watched everyone as they finished and even sat there for a playoff hole. I am tired just reading about it.

Good luck in your "run like a robot" race. I am guessing that's why you would wear a technical running shirt.

There is no such thing as a "nice nine mile run."

Good luck in your race! I don't know much about golf but it sounds like a fun time.
