Happy Thanksgiving!!
As excited as I am to see my family and spend time with everyone, my heart is heavy today. As you probably know from Mommy's blog, the associate pastor of Lakeside passed away on Monday. He was the father of my long time friend Mike who I met in 6th grade when his family first came to our church. We have been great friends since and it breaks my heart to think of how Mike and his family must be feeling. I know that Craig is now with the Lord in a much better place where he doesn't have to feel the pain and sorrow of this world. But please keep his family in your prayers as they try to make it through this holiday season without a father, husband, and granddad.

Do suits make you look older?? Not me.
Well, I found out yesterday that I have to go to a recruiting dinner in Waco tonight for work. I help with recruiting Baylor students for E&Y. It is usually okay but tonight I have to go down by myself because only two other girls are going and I barely know them. To make matters worse, I just found out I have to wear a suit. I hate suits :( They are so stuffy and not cute plus I look like I'm playing dress up. I also have to miss the new Gilmore episode and Rory is supposed to come back! I also have to miss Amazing Race. They picked a bad night for a recruiting dinner. On the upside, it will give me an excuse to leave work early one night this week. I just have to decide which one! We went car shopping this weekend. We are trying to buy a new SUV but are having trouble deciding. I guess we need some hints from Katie and Justin!! I had decided on a used Touareg (see picture above) but while researching them I discovered they are not very reliable, got very low JD Power's ratings, and everyone had the same complaints. Many reviews said DO NOT BUY and worst car ever! They are so pretty but as one individual said, "don't be fooled by the beautiful design." Now I am considering a 4Runner, Grand Cherokee, or Murano. If anyone has any helpful knowledge on these choices, please feel free to let me know! If you only have unhelpful, personal opinions, keep them to yourself.

Indians??
Wow, I finally get to take a breath. This week has been really busy at work. We had a lot of deadlines to meet which made me have to work at times of the day I would much rather be watching reality TV or the Mavs! But I just mailed off the packages to the client so I am DONE! Well, done with that project. Now to address Justin's blog. I do actually hunt for Indians (that's Indians with a helmet not with a feather). However, I am really looking for businesses located on Indian reservations. I have an atlas at work just for this purpose. Sorry Aunt Carey, you can not save taxes by finding Indians. Which is actually too bad because I often have to call Chandler, Mesa, and Scottsdale looking for these guys so you are in prime spotting area.
Another interesting note from my Indian hunting for all you Nevada Walker's. Did you know there is a Walker River Indian Reservation near Reno. I know that is really no where near ya'll but I think of each of you every time I am looking in Nevada for Indian land!
P.S. Sorry Justin! It is probably sacrilege to even have this picture on my blog. But at least I don't worship Satan.

A Week in Review
Well, it has been a very exciting week! Little Walker is soooo cute and soft and cuddly! I think I held him for about an hour and a half straight last night when we went over to Kara's for dinner. Now don't think we are already making Kara cook for us, my mom was over there cooking and helping Kara and Aaron out. I don't have any pictures my mom hasn't already posted but I am sure I will before long.
Today was very hectic at the office. That is always good though because the day flies by. I also got to wear causal which means I got to wear my new shoes (see orange trimmed shoes above). Tonight we are going to eat with an old friend of mine from high school. It should be fun! We are going to Macaroni Grill (YUM!). Kara, you know you're jealous :)
I missed Survivor last night in my rush to go see Walker so I need an update please (mostly directed to Aunt Carey or Alison). Have a great weekend everyone.

Kara's in Labor!!!
Yeah! Kara went into labor this morning. I am now sitting at work waiting for her to call with an update. I live and work near the hospital so Justin and I are waiting to hear that Walker will be here soon! Then we will jump in the car and head over to Baylor.
After this morning's news, my weekend seems not so important but I'll update everyone anyway. Justin and I drove down to Waco on Saturday morning. We picked up Justin's sister, Ashley, and then met my parents and Ben at the stadium. Contrary to what Ben believes, Tech should not have won by more. It was a close game until the end of the fourth quarter! Ben is very confused as he also wore a Baylor T-shirt to the game and cheered for Tech.
After the game, we went to the best restaurant in Waco, Ninfa's. This is also the place I waited tables at for about two years during college. We had a great time there eating wonderful fajita's and queso and catching up with friends!
We drove home Sunday morning and guess who called again. That's right, the ticket fairy. My friend Amanda called and said she had Cowboys tickets again. Since I am such a good wife, Justin and I went to the game, again! The good wife part comes in because I had not showered yet so my hair was very dirty from the Baylor game. The game was fun but not as much as the Eagles or Gaints games. The crowd was pretty subdued through most of it and cheering and going crazy is one of the best parts!
We took our camera this weekend but the battery isn't working so no pictures :( But in the spirit of Baylor, here is one of graduation to tide you over. I am sure there will be many more pictures this week of my brand new nephew! This was in December. That is me and Justin of course (he graduated in August) and Paul (a college friend that now lives in Dallas and went to homecoming with us) and Amanda (my sister-in-law not to be confused with Ashley my other sister-in-law).
